A child should be nurtured and given care. It is an initiative undertaken by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to deliver support and possibilities to the girls of India. This day is meant to initiate awareness about the rights a girl owns which provides them opportunities like everyone else and removes gender-based biases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India has the second-largest number of girls worldwide, and most are unaware of their importance.
